Windows 8

I installed Windows 8 development preview today and I can honesty say it is by far the uglyest desktop operating system I have ever used.  I thought the Windows Metro UI looked kind if clunky and unfinished from the photos of it on phones but in real life on a big screen it looks worse.

I’ll tell you more about Win 8 if I can be bothered to do anything with it.
I was an early adopter of Win 7 and really excited by it but I’m sorry to say Win 8 leaves me cold.

What was interesting was the way I installed it as a virtual operating system on my exsisting Win 7 machine without upsetting it or fighting with dual boot. In fact I can run Win 8 on one screen while running Win 7 on the other.
This magic was done with FREE VMware Player.
