Been playing around with State from Xtranormal . State is the desktop version of the Movie Maker animation extra for YouTube.

This is my first attempt – I only have one actor and one background (green screen). You are given 300 points when you join Characters are 15o points the green screen is 37 points. If you want anything else you will have to buy extra points from 1200 points for $10.

State

The software is fun and interesting but rather buggy yet and it would appear that not all characters are available to download to State either.

It is worth playing with. The advantages of State over Movie Maker are you can work offline, you have more control over the characters and you can create your animation in parts and composite them together in a video editing package to produce your masterpiece.
